Project description The project will try to construct a model for the future distribution of and changed risks of damage of collections by the dermestid beetle Attagenus smirnovi in the Nordic countries in view of a changing climate. Parts of the project are: A mapping of the present distribution in Europe A summary of the taxonomy and biology of the species Evaluation of several years of monitoring the species in different localities at the National Museum of Denmark Studies of larva consumption rate at different temperatures Construction of risk models.
